What to Bring

  • Cool, loose comfortable clothing
  • Hat, sun screen
  • Bathers (swimwear )
  • Fold up umbrella (useful but not essential)
  • Any medical supplies you require, (eg paracetamol).
  • Insect repellant
  • Waterless hand sanitiser
  • Personal care items, toiletries.
  • Camera or a phone that takes photos, spare battery and charger
  • International electrical plug adaptor , Bali uses the same plug as Europe.
  • Optional –  an iPad/tablet if you have one, it is quite useful for photo references.
  • Money – the easiest way is to have a debit card and take Rupiah out from an ATM in Ubud as you need it, also you can bring some Indonesian Rupiah with you to be on the safe side. It is also advisable to have a credit card.
  • Drinks – if you enjoy wine with a meal you may wish to bring a bottle ,  prices for wines and spirits in Bali are high because they are imported. Bring safely packed in your checked in luggage, You are permitted to bring one litre of alcohol per adult into Bali.
